RINGKASAN


This study is conducted to analyze the error on the three simple tense – aspect systems by describing the errors and the pattern of errors occurred in the tenses made by students of FKIP Unsimar Poso. Objects of this research are 7 students who are joined in Structure II subjects of FKIP Unsimar Poso. The three simple tense-aspect systems are the simple present tense, the simple past tense and the simple future tenses. The data were taken from the student respondents’ writing. There were three topics of writing: daily activities, past experience and future activity. The theory of pattern from Azar is used to analyze whether the sentences are correct or incorrect. As a result, the students still did not understand enough about tenses. They made many kind errors in each tense. They still did not use an appropriate tense. The researchers found that almost all students made some errors in simple present tense and simple past tense. But only few students made errors in simple future tense. For the most common error in the simple present tense, the students used of Present participle instead of simple form (-s/-es form). In the simple past tense, the most common error is the use of simple form. Their sentence considered wrong or incorrect because they used simple form instead of simple past. The most common error that found in the simple future tense is the use of will + to instead of will + simple form.

RINGKASAN


Pembelajaran anak usia dini hendaknya mementingkan proses saat anak belajar dari pada hasil karya anak. Hal ini menjadi dasar mengapa keterampilan proses sains anak perlu dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains anak usia dini melalui implementasi metode inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelompok B1 TK ABA 24 Malang dengan jumlah 26 anak yang terdiri dari 12 orang laki-laki dan 14 orang perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Observasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan proses sains anak usia dini melalui metode inkuiri terbimbing.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Implementasi metode inkuiri terbimbing telah dilaksanakan dengan rata-rata persentase penerapan sebesar 81,31% pada siklus I dan 93,56% pada siklus II. Persentase penerapannya dilihat dari lembar penilaian observasi kegiatan guru yang diisi oleh observer. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan proses sains anak dapat meningkat melalui implementasi metode inkuiri terbimbing. Pada siklus I, rata-rata persentase keterampilan proses sains anak adalah 68,67% dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II sebesar 20% menjadi 88,67%.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan proses sains anak usia dini dapat meningkat melalui metode inkuiri terbimbing. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mengharapkan agar para guru perlu dilatih untuk memiliki pengetahuan lebih tentang model pembelajaran yang cocok bagi anak usia dini yang dapat mengembangkan seluruh aspek perkembangan anak.

RINGKASAN


The research describes about the level of satisfaction toward the learning conditions of English Department at Sintuwu Maroso Unversity. The objective of this research about the level of students satisfaction on the learning conditions of English Department at Sintuwu Maroso University.This research was descriptive qualitative. The researcher collected the data through quesionnaire, interview and documentation.The data were analyzed qualitatively. The research also used Likert Scale. The level of students‟ satisfaction was measured by indicators tangibles aspect, reliability aspect, responsiveness aspect, assurance aspect, and empathy aspect. The reseacher using the theory of the fifth dimensions of service quality characteristic by Parasuraman, Zeithaml and Berry 1988. The research findings in tangibles aspect percentage score of 58.3%. It meant that in the category tangible aspect, the students‟ of English Department at Unsimar Poso included was dissatisfied. In reliability aspect the percentage score of 72.33%. It meant that the students‟ of English Department was satisfied in the category reliability aspect.Responsiveness aspect percentage score of 72.61%. It meant that, the students‟ of English department was satisfied in the category responsiveness aspect. Assurance aspect percentage score of 70.25%. It meant that the students‟ of English Department was satisfied in the category assurance aspect. Empathy aspect to percentage score 66%. It meant that, the students‟ of English Department included was satisfied in the category emphaty aspect. In the level the students satisfaction of English Department at Unsimar Poso, the students‟ do not achieve the level of the indicator was very satisfied in teaching and learning process at English department. So that the students only expressed the level of indicator with the satisfaction and dissatisfaction toward learning conditions of English Department at Unsimar Poso.

RINGKASAN


Japan has been implementing unique strategy as effort to propose English as second official language in Japan and to promote Japanese culture globally. This strategy is to use Nihonjinron and Kokusaika as cultural values of Japan in using English. This paper discusses about how this strategy is implemented in Japan. Firstly, the writer explains how Nihonjinron and Kokusaika as Japanese cultural values have been used as strategy to fulfill the needs of using English. Secondly, the explanation is continued on discussing how Japanese cultural values have been implemented in language education policy in Japan from the perspectives of researchers. Finally, the writer concludes the discussion by presenting the writer’s perspective.

RINGKASAN


Bahasa adalah suatu alat komunikasi yang digunakan oleh setiap individu untuk dapat berinteraksi dengan sesamanya. Melalui bahasa yang digunakan, manusia dapat mengekpresikan ide, gagasan dan pikiran kepada lingkungan tempat dimana dia berada (Miller). Fungsi bahasa tersebut sangatlah beragam karena bahasa tersebut digunakan oleh banyak lingkungan sosial masyarakat. Perbedaan itu dipengaruhi oleh beragam budaya, adat, kebiasaan dan dialek penggunanya. Hal ini menyebabkan bahasa dengan dialek tertentu cenderung diciptakan oleh si pengguna dalam suatu komunitas tertentu. Dalam teori linguistik, variasi semacam ini disebut creole (creole language). Mahasiswa Unsimar sebagai pengguna bahasa juga mempunyai bahasa creole yang sering mereka gunakan dalam percakapan sehari – hari ketika mereka berinteraksi di kampus. Studi ini diarahkan untuk melihat secara linguistik keunikan dan karakteristik dari bahasa creole yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa Unsimar. Dari hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa para mahasiswa menggunakan bahasa ini untuk beberapa alasan, yaitu: sebagai simbol kedekatan sesama teman, sebagai style (gaya bicara), untuk mencipatakn suasana santai saat bercakap – cakap dan sebagai penunjuk identitas.
